Governor Rick Scott order random drug tests for State employees

TALLAHASSEE – on the same day the law was made to live up to the promise of the Governor Rick Scott require people receiving social pass drug tests, he signed the Executive order that State employees do it too.

Sen. Paula Dockery, R-Lakeland, offered legislation on behalf of Scott in the Criminal Justice Committee Tuesday to require all recipients of social assistance cash over 18 years of age pay for and receive test for drugs. One official estimated that it would affect about military people.
